  • 2010 stats:  403 avg. 26 RBI (led team) 24 Runs, 7 2B (led team) 3 HR (led team) in 23 GP.  Final home run out of major league park during playoffs.
  • In 2010 led Starting Pitchers in ERA at 2.72  and had 29 K’s to 7 BB’s  and 4 wins to 1 loss in 28.1 innings
  • 2011 stats  - BA- 0.481, OBP %- 0.541, Slugging %- 0.904, 30 RBI’s, 5 HRs, 18 SB in 22 attempts,  3 K’s (hitting).  Pitching:  84K and 24 BB in 49.1 innings (second best in AZ 2A baseball in K/inning).  Maxpreps stats here.

Summer Ball (2010, 2011)

  • Connie Mack League 18U team.   Games played with wood bats in major league parks (ie Angels spring training fields)
  • Coaches: ex-major leaguers Steve Ontiveros and Jim Lefebvre
  • Batted third and started at third, shortstop, center field, and pitcher
  • Led team in home runs both years
  • So far in 2011 batting  .489 with .867 slugging and three home runs (leads team in these categories)

Won Eagle award, normally given to a senior, as a junior for the athlete across all sports who best represents the AIA’s and the schools ethics to pursue victory with honor.
